Webmasters – Take advantage of universal search

An interesting post on the Official Google Blog recently points to a trend in internet search which was bound to happen sooner rather than later – websites are becoming less important in search engine results as Google and others add more content types into the results. This means that content owners – people who want their content to be found via internet search – need to think of some more inventive ways to ensure the search engines find what they want to be found. This is a positive thing, and those who respond to these changes sooner will likely reap the reqards.
