I am entering the TV3 photo competition. I’ve gone through my iPhoto Library and chosen 6 possible entries which you can see here in my flickr set. I can only enter 3, and I have till Monday to decide.

I figured some objective input would be good at this stage, so I’m asking you to please help me decide which 3 I should submit. Comments on Flickr or here.

   hmmm… thats a tough one.

   I would be inclind to stay away from flowers, as they are static, and you can take 100,000,000 photos, and then select the best (too easy).

   Animals on the other hand take alot more skill and speed, in my opinion.

   1 – Butterfly – Looks amazing, really interesting composition.Encourages the viewer to explore the image, and every corner is interesting.

   Only negative point is that it might look a little foreign (not Irish enough) ?

   Overall my number 1

   2 – Cow – Great shot, but shadows could have been a little better. What is casting that shadow over his right eye ?

   3 – Flower – good, but not unlike millions of others

   4 – Fly thing – great shot, but is it blurred or are the wings flapping ? – might go against you.

   5 – Flowers – good, but not unlike millions of others

   6 – Ducks – Lovely shot, nice framing and focus – my number 2
