Random St. Patricks Day headshot. Canon 400d & Canon 75-300mm. As shot, no processing.

custom house, dublin. The Custom House in Dublin, Ireland. Completed in 1791, and designed by the famous James Gandon, it's one of Dublin's landmark buildings and therefore one of its most photographed. Passing by, I couldn't help but join in :)
747. A JAL 747, JAL being the largest owner of Boeing 747's in the world, taxi's for takeoff at San Francisco International Airport, SFO, heading for Toyko, Japan.
550 Kearny Street. Sharleen and Sinead standing, quite literally, on 550 Kearny Street in San Francisco
Nob Hill. Mason Street, Nob Hill, San Francisco, California. Photoshop cross-processing effect applied using Photoshop CS3 for Mac.
lake tahoe. A view of South and West Lake Tahoe, California, from the air. Flying home to Dublin from San Francisco on an Aer Lingus Airbus A330-200. Amazingly, I was here just five days earlier snowboarding in Homewood Ski Resort. You can see the ski runs in the picture (see note).
half-pipe at boreal. Its hard to get a sense of scale from this shot, but the half-pipe on the other side of this ramp has walls that are around 25 feet tall. Taken at Boreal Ski Resort in Lake Tahoe, California.
bay bridge. A look to the side, and back (several times) through the mirror. The Bay Bridge in San Francisco, California.
Aer Lingus Wing. Aer Lingus Airbus A330-200 Wing. En-route from Dublin to San Francisco. Somwhere over Iceland. No edits, crops etc. As taken.Aer Lingus now fly direct from Dublin to San Fracisco. While their service and equipment can't match the likes of Virgin Atlantic, the direct route and the ability to avoid hell-holes like Heathrow make it a very worthwhile option.
lake geneva. Lake Geneva, Vevey, Switzerland with the French Alps in the background. Taken on the morning of a friends wedding at which I was 'official photgrapher'. July 2007. Beautiful location - somewhere I'd like to visit again. Seems a world away now in dark dreary January !
