storms end. donabate. The sun peaks through behind a wild sea in Donabate, Co Dublin, Ireland. Taken with a Canon 400d and a Sigma 10-20mm. Processed in Photoshop CS3 for Mac.
concretewindowish. Trying to emulate the amazing work of concretewindow with much less skill!Taken with a Canon 40d and a Canon 50mm f/1.4 in traffic at Sandymount, Dublin, IrelandProcessed in Adobe Photoshop CS3 for Mac.
Dollymount. Dollymount Strand in Dublin on a cold but beautiful Winters day. Completely overprocessed in Lightroom 2.1 for Mac, but it is what it is and it's not supposed to reflect reality :)

turtle cross-processed. Testing a cross-processing technique in Photoshop CS3 for Mac, with my friendly male turtle as my model !I roughly followed the steps in this photoshop cross-processing tutorial, and then tweaked to suit the image, and added some other adjustments to get the effect I wanted - including the fake vignette effect which is a radial gradient adjustment layer as described here.

Summer 2008. This photo sums up the recent 'summer' weather in Ireland. This is using my own manual tweaks to a 'Lomo camera with Velvia film' preset I downloaded for Adobe Lightroom for Mac. Taken with a Canon 400d and Canon 50mm f/1.8
lights. Lights wrapped around the banister of the stairs in my sisters house.She had the house decorated for her house warming. Everyone was drunk.I was sober, so I played with my brothers Canon 300d while everyonetalked sh*t !
lake geneva. Lake Geneva, Vevey, Switzerland with the French Alps in the background. Taken on the morning of a friends wedding at which I was 'official photgrapher'. July 2007. Beautiful location - somewhere I'd like to visit again. Seems a world away now in dark dreary January !
making lunch. My wife making lunch for the kids the night before. Hope she doesn't mind me displaying her feet so publicly :)My first uploaded shot taken with the Canon 40d and Canon 50mm f/1.4.Processed in 10 quick minutes using Photoshop CS3 for Mac.
raindrops. Raindrops on a blade of grass. Taken in Balinoulart, Co Wexford, Ireland. Minor adjustment in Lightroom for Mac. Taken with Canon 400d, Canon 50mm f/1.8, and Kenko extension tubes.
Storm Approaching. Taken on Dollymount strand a few weeks ago. One of those days where the sun was splitting the rocks one minute, and then lashing rain the next. Processed in Adobe Lightroom 2.0 for Mac and uploaded with the very cool Export to Flickr Plugin - bit.ly/2GtKji. Thanks to my unknown and unsuspecting model for adding the human element to this shot!
sea-stairs.
Desk post cleaning. I did some serious desk tidying the last few days. Things are now manageable in my little work world. The piled up paperwork was really getting out of hand. Now I know where everything is again. This photo has more notes than any other photo I've ever uploaded. Go check em out.

Cow Stare. A cow stares down at me in a field in Co Wexford in July '06
lake tahoe. A view of South and West Lake Tahoe, California, from the air. Flying home to Dublin from San Francisco on an Aer Lingus Airbus A330-200. Amazingly, I was here just five days earlier snowboarding in Homewood Ski Resort. You can see the ski runs in the picture (see note).
abstract street lights #2. Another 20 second exposure with my camera on the dashboard of my car. Croppedand processed in Adobe Photoshop CS3 for Mac.
snooker table. RAW conversion in Photoshop CS3 for Mac. No processing as such aside from that.
