I recently had a scary drone malfunction which affected the camera gimbal. There was no pre-warning, I was flying in almost ideal weather, and the short flight had been normal until suddenly I experienced a dramatic malfunction which resulted in the gimbal rotating and skipping around alarmingly. Given that I was flying over water and without knowing initially whether it was a drone malfunction or just the camera, I was able to Return to Home and land safely, I count myself lucky.
